Real Violin Lite is a software that simulate the violin playing on iPhone/iPod Touch.

This app is awesome. I play the viola and this a violin and i can still play good w/it. Its really great.....!!!!!
Does anyone know that instead of having to rotate the device there is a touch mode where you just touch the note on the string? Has anyone tried it?
I like it. Even though I play the violin.
if you go to touch and just slide your fingers all over the place it sounds awesome
... the violin sample was more true to the sound of a violin; the sound is ... more like a synth keyboard.
... you could somehow pluck the strings....
... one could tweak the sound quality manually or even retune, such as the settings on Pocket Guitar...
HOWEVER> the interface on this app is the best of all the apps I have seen and tried, and I am eager to try the full version as well... its seems really lame to me though with such great apps out there like mandolin, dulcimer, ikoto and pocket guitar (which not only reproduce the string sound with remarkable fidelity, but you can also tweak the sound and add effects such as echo, sustain and distortion.) that all violin apps are so limited in terms of sound quality.
its not like the violin is one of the most popular and far reaching instruments ... only every kind of genre and culture use it.... why so little love for the violin in app land?
Ive played violin for over 8 years and the app is ok. The finger placement is right but the notes sound a little dead and flat.
I just updated the app and the ipod itself, and the app keeps crashing on me. what do i do O_O ive turned on and off my ipod and tried reloading the app but it still crashes. :/
